CAB ANNOUNCES NEW APPOINTMENTS TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Ottawa, May 10, 2001 – Michael McCabe, President and CEO of the Canadian
Association of Broadcasters (CAB) is pleased to announce new appointments
to the CAB Board of Directors.

"This is a tremendously strong team," said Michael McCabe. "Under the direction of our
new Chair, Paul Robertson, this Board is ready and able to address head on the important
issues facing our industry."

The new additions to the CAB Board are due to vacancies arising since the CAB Annual
General Meeting last November. The new appointments to the CAB Executive Committee
are:
