The CAB Member Group Life and Health Insurance Program
The Canadian Association of Broadcasters is pleased to offer the CAB Member Group Life and Health Insurance Program to its members. Participating CAB members can save up to 20% off their group benefit plan premiums. The program is managed by Mercer Human Resource Consulting and underwritten by one of Canada's leading group insurance carriers. Here are some highlights:
- Members can save up to 20% off their group benefit premiums. Actual savings will depend on your plan design, claims experience and demographic profile.
- Savings to CAB members will come from a combination of discounts and reduced insurer expense levels. These savings were negotiated by Mercer and are guaranteed.
- Group Life, Accident and Disability Insurance rates will be guaranteed for 28 months and Health and Dental rates will be guaranteed for 16 months from the start date of your policy.
- Participation in the program is voluntary for each member group.
- Each CAB member will have their own separate policy and retain their current plan design. Their claims experience will also remain their own.
Along with a quote, Mercer is offering CAB members an audit and benchmarking review of their benefit program. Mercer would provide specific recommendations on funding methods, plan design and cost-containment strategies. This audit is offered to CAB members without fee. Members who choose to participate in the CAB Member Group Life and Health Insurance Program or appoint Mercer on their current plan will benefit from Mercer’s unequalled services and resources.
If you are interested in a quote or in Mercer’s audit and benchmarking, please contact Julie Potvin from Mercer Human Resource Consulting at (613) 760-2964 or julie.potvin@mercer.com.
If you are not currently a CAB member and would like more information on how to become a member, contact Monique Henri, at mhenri@cab-acr.ca or click here.
