    Industry Canada Notice SAB-001-07; Spectrum Planning Activities and Review of the 1995 Transitional Digital Radio Policy
    In this letter, Canada`s broadcast technical regulator, Industry Canada, declares its intention to:

    • undertake a public consultation to review the L-band (DAB) allocation and to determine whether an expanded scope for flexible use of the band would be beneficial;
    • refrain from issuing further broadcasting (technical) certificates for L-band DRB stations until the review is completed.
